Forge+: a 2D Survival Game

Forge is a sandbox survival game inspired by the spirit of Minicraft, while growing into its own experience through new mechanics, visual improvements, and continuous development.

The project originally started from the Minicraft codebase, but over time it has evolved with its own identity. My goal is not to recreate the original game, but to expand its possibilities while preserving the simple pixel-art style and fast-paced gameplay that made it enjoyable in the first place.

Explore procedurally generated worlds, build your own shelter, gather resources, survive dangerous nights, discover villages and underground areas, and gradually unlock new achievements as you progress. Every world is different, encouraging exploration and experimentation rather than following a fixed path.

Special attention has been given to atmosphere. Campfires illuminate the darkness, fireflies appear during the night, and small visual details help the world feel more alive without changing the classic minimalist style. Forge also includes improvements to the user interface, support for resource packs, a built-in mod loader, and many quality-of-life changes that have been developed throughout the project.

Forge is still actively being developed. Future updates will introduce new creatures, mechanics, environmental improvements, and additional content while staying true to the game's lightweight and accessible design.
